The entities for characters, for example ü is ü. All possible entities are divided into three submenus. Picking a character from these menus is only useful if you only want a single character. If you write in a language which use a lot of these characters, type them in the document as usual and then use the character translation.
Add... - Letters can be added to the short list at the top. Choose the ones you want from a pick list.
Default - Sets the short list at the top back to the default setting: less than, greater than, ampersand, nonbreak space.
Clear - Removes all letters from the short list.
You can define key bindings for all character entities using Key Bindings in the HTML Utilities menu.
| Small Chars Inserts the character entity for a letter, for example, á inserts á. | Capital
Chars Inserts the character entity for a capital letter. The reason for the accent being beside some letters is that the Chicago font does not have these accented letters. |
Other Chars 1 and Other Chars 2 Character entities for other characters. Depending on which menu font you are using, a few of the characters to the left marking the menu items may not be the correct ones. |
